Sounding the Stops is Tim Massey's thesis for his PhD in Creative and Critical Writing awarded by Cardiff University in July 2005. It comprises a critical essay and four stage plays – Touchy Feely, Have-a-Go Hero, Bacon Sandwich and Christmas with Johnny and Dee.
